I graduated from Penn State in May 2010 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology and a minor in Business.   Upon stepping out into the real world, I thought to myself, “What now?”  I think that’s a common question that all too often people don’t know the answer to and can’t seem to figure it out.   So I took to searching the world wide web.

After spending hours and hours, and days and days on different websites and scrolling though countless job postings and typing my resume forty times over, I realized one thing.   I want to help people NOT have to do this!   I searched for personnel agencies in the WNY area and low and behold, there was Construction Personnel Group, this little tight-knit group that combines what I wanted, with what I’m interested in.

In some past life, I too was a construction worker.   I’ve been following my Dad and brother from job site to job site since I was very young and my Dad was wiring houses for family and friends.   My only two jobs previous to working here was working in an Assisted Living Center in the kitchen, (hot, tedious work, that’s fast and laborious), and working in a Mom & Pop Hardware and equipment rental store in Athol Springs, NY, (customer service, and machinery).   That’s when I took it upon myself to contact John and demand that he hire me. And here I am!
